I am speaking of Lon Chaney,
I'm not sure if many are as aware of him now a-days,
(after all he was an actor in the "silent film" era.),
but for any movie fan I definately encourage seeing some of his works.
One of my favorite preformances by him is the silent film:
Laugh,Clown,Laugh
This movie almost brings a tear to your eye, It descibes a clown who's in love with a woman. But the woman happends to be in love with anouther man. It focases on the happiness and tragedy in love. Quite a wonderful film.
Turner Classic Movies has just released a DVD with a collection of Lon Chaney works.

That's a link if anyone is interested in some of the older cinema works.
What are your thoughts on this magnifisant actor?
