Someone on Reddit is looking for this:
A woman in her apartment was about to end her own life when the doorbell rings. She opens the door and there is a child (with a large head) covered by a ghost costume/mask (or a sheet with two holes for the eyes). The child won't go away and enters the apartment saying nothing. The film ends with the woman and child in a white, snowy landscape......the child finally removes head-cover to reveal facial scarring (burns?), and is identified as the woman's sister. The child remains silent throughout the film.
The person looking for this movie (or TV episode) was eight years old when they saw it, and can't remember any other details. Seen on TV, 2009 in Germany (possibly dubbed into german from english).
My searches have failed so far. Any ideas?
