Jumanji 3 (Welcome to the Jungle Sequel)

It's happening. The team of director Jake Kasdan and stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan are all returning for a follow-up to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Shooting begins in Atlanta on January 21 and the release date is set: December 13, 2019.

Ugh.


The first movie is class.


The sequel/reboot was mediocre.
They also missed the point that the original made, in that Jumanji animals are roided up huge versions of real animals... in Welcome To The Jungle, they were just bland CGI animals.


Took the kids to see the first sequel... way too many penis jokes, including hardon jokes, for a film that was marketed at preteens.

I picture this as a hybrid of both films where the game heroes appear in reality and must team up with the players to fight the usual creatures-and-hunters threat. In any case, I still feel cheated by the second one's hey-this-rebootquel-doesn't-actively-suck hype so I'll obviously be skeptical of this one being any good.

I enjoyed the sequel alot more than I thought I would, so I'll be keeping an eye on this movie.
