Evil nanny with demonic powers

I dont know the movie i can only describe partly what the movies is about.

The parents went away and the two children was stuck in a house with an evil nanny which had demonic powers as long as she was in control.

So the kids must struggle so that she looses her powers.

That's a decent film as I recall. It was the first thing that came to mind but I wasn't sure whether there was just one child or not.

The Guardian is the first thing I thought of too - but the kid is a baby and doesn't do much struggling.

Still something familiar about it - will think on it a bit.

It sounds very similar to the Amazing Stories Episode 'The Sitter' [S01E13]. The parts that match up is there are two kids, and a Nanny that has voodoo powers. However, the kids are brats and were notorious for cruelty to their nannies, until this one was sent to set them straight.

I so want this to turn out to be Mary Poppins .... I know it won't but I really, really, really want it to
