Movie about girl/woman sailor

Does anyone know of a movie where a woman/girl is a sailor or pirate? I love movies with big sailing ships and adventure... but the characters seem to always be only men!
Any suggestions?
(I'm hoping something similar to the Bloody Jack book series where a girl runs away to see disguised as a boy)

I cant recall a movie but tv show Black Sails touches on real life Anne Bonny



And there is a mini series about Ching Shih but seems plagued with problems of one sort or another

Cutthroat Island (1995) is the only one that comes to mind. There is a movie made for TV in production called Queen of Candon. It is based on the biggest female pirate ever she lead 80,000 outlaws, Ching Shih. Started out as a prostitute and became a priate lord. She was breifly mentioned in Pirates of the Carribean as Mistress Ching, one of the pirate lords.

I cant find anything by that name. Unless you mean Queen of Canton (Candon is in Philippines)
titled Red Flag/s that I mentioned but there is just so much on again off again (mis)information about it. I wish Netflix would just pick it up and throw a marco polo amount of money at it to get it off the ground.

LOL dont worry. Ching Shih gets variations as well. Just thought I'd throw it in for if you happen to stumble on any news down the track about this cursed show. It was green lit years ago, probably last bloody century.

Eh I can see why it hasnt come out. Think I'll wait for the other if there is one, or maybe it went straight to dvd. Looks hilariously appalling.
