Looking for movie about old England

I am looking for a movie that took place back in Old England in the horse and coach days. I think that it was about a man who had a son by a first marriage that was supposed to inherit his estate. His first then wife died. The father had since married another woman and had two daughters by her. On the father's death bed, he made his son promise to let his step mother and step sisters continue to live and be cared for by his son on the estate. His son promised, but his son's wife demanded that the step mother and sisters be evicted. The step mother and sisters were given time to try to find another place to live and a cousin and his wife welcomed them to live on a country estate they owned. In the end, the oldest sister ends up marrying a man she had met, after some complications were overcome, and the youngest sister ends up marrying a wealthy older landowner. The older sister's husband becomes a vicar.

That sounds like it could be an adaptation from classic literature – can you recall what the clothing was like? For example the vicar?
