The A Team - marty N' bobby

Tools

i am writing his topic in favor of my favourite actor and one of my favourite influential directors, took me 32 minutes to write so u better read it lol

there are a lot of partner teams in cinema who worked on many films, that have created success...like JOHN FORD-JOHN WAYNE, Francis Coppola-Marlon Brando,
and many others...but no one will stand out like the best partnership in cinema needles to say i have ever seen: Martin Scorcese-Robert DeNiro
they have made 8 films together which 6 of them became endless classics of movies not to be forgotten, a lot of partnership in cinema tried to be formed
to create the same vibe of Scorcese/Deniro vibe, but no one was as successful....friends for over 30 years, and a career build for history
marty and boby have been friends for over 30 years, both born in NYC and love NY like no other place in the world since most of their films both
are filmed in NYC, they have contirbuted a lot to NY through their love for the city, both italians, families are friends and raised together

WON Best Actor - Golden Globe Awards
WON Best Actor - Los Angeles Film Critics Association

SCORSESE: Nominated Best Director - Academy Awards
Nominated Best Director - Golden Globe Awards
WON Best Director - National Society of Film Critics

Plot: an unrelenting, searing biopic and dramatic tragedy - based on the real life story of an unloveable, stubborn middle-weight boxing champion as he struggles to be champion. His life passes through successive stages of punishment, compromise, and self-disintegration. Paul Schrader's (and Mardik Martin's) superb (and un-nominated) screenplay was loosely based on Jake La Motta's book of the same name that chronicled La Motta's own rise and tragic, self-destructive, violent fall. The 1940s boxing champion/bum blindly, obtusely, and stupidly inflicts wounds upon himself (mostly outside the ring in his personal and marital life with sibling rivalry and domestic abuse) while he also legally brutalizes opponents in the ring.
Raging Bull focuses on Jake's rage and violence that makes him virtually unstoppable in the ring. The same anger also drives Jake to beat his wife and his brother Joey, and sends Jake down a self-destructive spiral of paranoia and rage.

Cast :
Robert De Niro .... Jake La Motta
Cathy Moriarty .... Vickie La Motta
