Little girls in orphanage...

Little girl, about 13, taken by soldiers or officers or some other men (authorities) from convent or orphanage. Nuns do nothing to stop them. Other little girl, smaller, (probably the main caracther) says that was the last time she saw her. Girl is probably taken because she's "old" enough, because she's "almost" a woman and they want to take advantage of her. She's wearing dress and she's beautiful. I don't remember details, but she was probably given some gift from them and she probably leaves her doll in orphanage or convent. Movie probably takes place in Mexico or some other Latin American country.

I think I may have seen this recently. Do you know how old the movie is and what language it's in?

It's probably less than 20 years old. It's in English or in Spanish, both foreign languages for me.
