I just read about this, and It floored me. Trey Parker and Matt Stone (South Park, of course) are starting work on an action movie titled Team America, which will be done completely with marionettes ala Thunderbirds or SuperCar. The movie is a parody of overblown Jerry Bruckheimer action extravaganzas like Armageddon, as well as the current War Against Terror. (Do we dare dream of a Saddam Hussein puppet? "Relaaaaax, guy!") I am dying to see this right now, and it's not even close to being filmed yet. I can not wait.
