Link between Law Abiding Citizen and Forgetting Sarah Marshall?

I just re-watched one of my favorite movies, Law Abiding Citizen, and started laughing during a scene in the movie because of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, another favorite film of mine.

Do you know what I'm talking about, and did anyone else got a laugh out of this?

Ha, I thought this was about me.

The scene I found funny in LAC is the one where they visit the female judge and she answers the phone and instantly dies. In FSM Jason Segel literally acts out the exact same scene (He's mocking a film his ex-gf played in).
