Rank the Dirty Harry Films

How would you rank the films in the series?

I would go for:

Dirty Harry
Magnum Force
Sudden Impact
The Enforcer
The Dead Pool

I think it's a shame that no more were forthcoming.

It's been a long while since I've seen a couple of them. However, I'd go

Dirty Harry
Magnum Force
The Enforcer
Sudden Impact
The Dead Pool

I'm not totally convinced by the order of the last two, as I may well prefer the ridiculous nature of The Dead Pool than Sudden Impact atm. The first two are clearly superior to the other three, though and, while Dirty Harry is a lot better than Magnum Force, I probably like Magnum Force more than I should.

This:
Sudden Impact looks a lot better, the story is stronger, but the baddies are terrible and Dirty Harry's incessant anger comes off as campy in a bad way. Dirty Harry is far away the best, and Magnum Force is far away the best sequel.
