nop. the kidnapper was actually the wife's lover and they plotted against the husband. everything seems real until the end plot twist that the kidnapper was actually the wife's lover.

Yeah I thought you may have been mixing up details, it happens to all of us . The twist in Derailed made me think it could have been that.

I think the wife was an actress or dancer and she fell inlove with her partner and in the movie shes in a box or something similar? And at the end of the movie the husband kidnapps them (the wife and her lover) and it implies hell do the same thing to them.
