Rodent's Essential 80s

I've trawled over hundreds of 80s classics over the past week or so... and whittled it down to an even 30 movies that make the 80s the most memorable decade for movies... like with my sci-fi list, this is a totally different list to what most people would expect from me...


I'm currently still ordering my final choices so this will officially start in a short while...

Just what I need! I'm in the process of making a top 100 80's list on Letterboxd, and I'm stuck at 78. There should be some films I've overlooked here..hopefully.

Big Trouble was almost cut but the recent news on the remake has earned it a place just outside the Top 20...

Terminator, Blues Brothers, Fast Times, Raiders, and Roger Rabbit . Only one I dislike is Big.

Edit: add Poltergeist to the ones I like.

This is nice, Rodent, but we've all heard of these movies. Give us some shockers!
