movie song question?

I have just heard the song "stand by me" and now it is really bugging me as i know i have seen a film that has featured this song but i just remember what film it was..i do know it was NOT the film "stand by me" or "urban cowboy" it was more of an up to date film probably made in the 90s, and i believe its a sad/romantic movie.....please help as its really bugging me lol
