Emmy winner Sean Hayes (WILL & GRACE) returns to network television playing a gay single parent trying to run an internet retail firm and raise a teenage daughter at the same time. Have really enjoyed the first three episodes so far. The writing is fresh and contemporary and the supporting cast is solid, with a particular nod to Linda Lavin, who is fabulous as Sean's smothering, uber-critical mother. Yes, Hayes is playing a gay character again, but this character is not the gay stereotype that Jack MacFarland was and the character's sexual orientation, though not glossed over, is not the central element of the character. First new show I've seen this season that I definitely hope will be picked up for a full season.
