The plot is not remember. Remember just what that type of bar and restaurant on the scene in the darkness singing a sad song and heartbreaking beauty. From the words I only remember the chorus "Maby tomorrow" and maybe sun or son was the word (although I knew even less English, so maybe the words wrong, the way we would like to find it, too)). ... So maybe she was smoking and yet accompanied on your keyboard(synthesizer). Another film is associated with some sort of criminal showdowns like. A and this girl (woman) was, I think a little girl (or maybe a boy (kid). And a man like her and she wanted to go away from this unclean place. This guy is hiding from a gang or a mob, headed by (perhaps) was a tall black man can be a hat, a white can and can with what that little dog or cat. Maybe a scene with a swing (swing easy) at home or at the bar - I do not remember, which seems to sit her baby .... and yes, and she was afraid of losing it or something like that. movie to be thought of not more than 1998!

it's not Blue Velvet 1986

in "my movie" the room was smaller, not as cultural and seems darker, and the girl seems to have been not a brunette, probably Brown (not exactly) and the scene was also like a smaller, perhaps she was sitting on a high stool, especially when played on the keyboard ( it's not exactly) And the song {dare to rely on your memory}, clearly, slowly and sadly sounds in the chorus several times "maby tomorrow", and for some reason I now submitted the voice and image of one of the lead singer of Corrs. Thank you for your choice! but then I thought no one here is looking already))) I'm waiting for more options ...

I dunno.

If it was a little girl singing about the sun and tomorrow it would be Annie.

And what the hell is a bubar?

I'm pretty sure that wasn't a plot description for Cabaret. The problem is there are a lot of movies with a woman singing a sad song in a nightclub or bar. But if she had a baby or kid and hiding from the mob, not a clue what that could be and there are too many ifs and maybes for me to bother to search for it.

I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
Apart from someone singing a sad song in a bar the description sounds nothing like Strange Days. If you think it might be that it might just as well be The Crying Game (1992). That doesn't have a kid in it either. It does have people on the run from terrorists (but pretty much nothing else from your description that I can remember...)

It appears the same question was asked on yahoo questions with better English. It doesn't appear to have been answered.

I got that answer figured out. They said Sarah, bot no such movie. But there is Sara about a girl on the run from the mob, but it is Polish and she doesn't have a kid and i see no evidence she sang and it was never dubbed in English.

I give up. I'll throw out The Fabulous Baker Boys, but no mob or kid. But Michelle Pfeiffer sings a lot of songs, some sad, and maybe tommorow might be words in one of them.

He remembers the song well enough to duplicate it, but can't recall much about the movie?

I don't recognize the tune.

Hang on will, think I've got it.

Crazy Six (1998)

Here's a sort-of-video of the song in question:

genyav, is this the one? I have no idea where the song appears in the movie though!

I listened to three songs caleed Maybe Tomorrow. This was the best of the three, but it isn't that tune, but closer than the other two.

&feature=related

Only three? Shame on you, will

There are dozens out there, but I wouldn't waste my ears on them (the Stereophonics song is ok though)
