You would have thought that a classic movie like The War of The Worlds would be far better served by being left well alone. After the disgraceful intellectual shredding of The Time Machine this looks to be another turkey at the expense of a great H.G Wells story.

Sorry, don't care who is directing. Am convinced it is a mistake to do it. Why don't they make something new and original instead!

I'm confident about this...from what I've read they're going to remain (or at least, they plan to remain) quite true to the original story. I wouldn't jump to conclusions here...lots of people thought bringing LOTR: FOTR to the big screen was a mistake, after all.

Time machine was kinda goofy. With the exception of Samantha Mumba. Hubba-Hubba
