That's a tough question, maybe The Propositionby John Hillcoat.

Marlon Brando. Jimmy Stewart at a close second.

Hm, I don't necessarily "dislike" any actor per say, but I'm not overly fond of Vin Diesel.

My favorite song is probably "Tangled up in Blue" by Bob Dylan; my favorite band is probably The Rolling Stones, and my favorite singer is Cat Power.

What are your favorites, from both categories?
Wall*E, to be honest, is probably my favorite animated movie. My favorite animated TV show would be South Park.

Do you avoid watching certain movies, simply because of an actor that is in them?
Nope, I haven't really found an actor/actress I've severely disliked to that point.

Name 5 actors you would love to meet, and why. What would you want to do to, or with them?

Marlon Brando would easily be one I'd love to meet, as he is my favorite actor of all-time. I'd like to have dinner with him.

Jimmy Stewart is also one of my favorite actors, so he would be a clear choice. I'd like to hear a commentary of his on Vertigo, my favorite Hitchcock.

Philip Seymour Hoffman would be another. I'd also like to sit down and hear his methods and preparation for various roles.

Meryl Streep is my favorite female actress of all-time. She seems incredibly humble and interesting. I'd like to have dinner with her.

Gena Rowlands is probably my second favorite actress of all-time. I've always been interested in her, as she worked and was married to John Cassavetes. I'd like to hear her take on A Woman Under the Influence and her methods for preparation.

Name the movie you hate the most.
That's tough. I really hated Forrest Gump.

Name the oldest movie you've seen.
I believe it might be The Birth of a Nation by Griffith.

Name the newest movie you've seen.
Watchmen.

What is your favorite theater snack?
Popcorn, but I rarely purchase anything at concessions.

Theater, or home theater?
Theater.

What is your favorite TV show?
The Wire, most likely.

Name your favorite sports.
Hockey is my number one and most likely football (soccer) close behind.

What is your favorite movie for each genre . . .

Horror?
The Exorcist.
Sci-fi?
2001: A Space Odyssey
Suspense Thriller?
Vertigo, if that qualifies.
Comedy? Shaun of the Dead
Action?
Die Hard
Drama?
Chinatown
Musicals?
I'm not a big fan of musicals, but Singin' in the Rain.
Westerns?
The Proposition
Martial Arts?
Enter the Dragon
War?
Apocalypse Now
There you go.

Justin,

Are you an angry New Yorker or an indifferent one, to tourists? Unlike most New Yorkers, I'm pretty indifferent. Most will ignore tourists asking for directions, but I'm most always glad to help.

Destiny told everybody here that she's flexible, and now I'm curious, are you flexible? Physically? Not at all.

Do you have any other films in development right now? Not currently. I might be shooting one later this year (short film), but I'm actually in the midst of writing my first feature film.

If we called your mom and asked her what you were like as a young boy, what would she say? Shy, quiet and pretty well behaved. That's usually how she describes me to others - while I'm in the room, of course.
I hope my answers were satisfactory!

Who are your three favourite directors?

Who would you rather meet: Marlon Brando, Mick Jagger, or Mario Lemieux?

Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

Who are your three favourite directors? John Cassavetes, Werner Herzog, and Ingmar Bergman.

Who would you rather meet: Marlon Brando, Mick Jagger, or Mario Lemieux? That's a really difficult question to answer. They're all pretty amazing at what they do. I don't know - probably Brando still.
Good questions...

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
Do you believe that Herzog is a better documentarian than a fictional filmmaker, or do you believe that most of his films straddle the line? Give some examples to support your answer.

Did you know that Ingmar Bergman had some very strong opinions on some of your favorite directors? Check the Personal Quotes near the bottom of this page. What do you agree and disagree with him about these comments? What would you use to contest some of his beliefs?

What do you like so much about Cassavetes as a filmmaker? Do you think you would feel differently about him if you had a chance to work with him on the technical side of filmmaking? I think what I'm getting at is how do you appreciate film differently (if at all) when it's a job rather than a relaxing pleasure? Also, are there any Cassavetes films which you find to be overbearing? Which ones and why?

Nice list.

I haven't seen Shaun of the Dead, or The Proposition.

As far as Vertigo goes, I do consider it a thriller. I've seen other people name a few of Hitchcock's films, horror films. Especially Psycho. They're not, in my opinion.

I ain't gettin' in no fryer!
I haven't seen Shaun of the Dead...
Great movie, for what it's worth.

Justin, I wish I had some questions for you, but it seems that Des takes all the good ones.

Ok, I've got one question for you...

Which of the Goonies do you relate the most to and why?
