Warner Home Video have will be releasing the film version of the J.K. Rowling's fifth novel of the Harry Potter series Harry Potter and the Order of the Phenix which stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Ralph Fiennes onto DVD December 11th. It will arrive in separate 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen and Fullscreen single-disc editions and a 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen 2-Disc Special Edition, along with English, French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound audio tracks. Subtitles are also provided.

Also set for release the same day is the Harry Potter Limited Edition Giftset which includes Harry Potters Years 1-5, a Harry Potter DVD game Hogwarts Challenge, along with a bonus disc containing over 2 hours of enhanced content, an exclusive "Harry Potter's Bookmark Collection", and collectible trading cards. The set comes with the SRP of $119.97.


Also set for release the same day is the Harry Potter Limited Edition Giftset, a 12-disc set which includes the two-disc editions of all five Harry Potters films, a new Hogwarts Challenge interactive game with 14 adventure games based on the first three films, and a second bonus disc which includes more than 3 hours of all-new to DVD extra content from all five films. Also included with the limited edition giftset are collectible premiums -- the Harry Potter Bookmark Collection, with five unique souvenir metal bookmarks, and 4 different packs of Harry Potter trading cards, from each of the first 4 films. Retail on the set is $119.97 SRP.

Films 1-3 will be re-released individually at a new low price ($14.97 SRP each) complete with a set of four trading cards specific to each film. Film number 4, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will also be available with trading cards but the low price of $14.97 SRP is valid only for 60 days, after which it well sell for $19.97 SRP.





A Blu-ray Disc (34.98) and HD DVD ($39.98) release will be available as well same day and date. Both the BD and HD-DVD releases hold the same features as the standard DVD. The HD DVD release will also offer exclusive interactive features including an In-Movie Experience, create your own clip and web-enabled features.
