It's been too long since I've seen Jason Goes to Hell (which I might revisit today) or Jason X, but I remember the former being bottom of the pile stuff and the latter being dumb fun.

5. Takes Manhattan. Absolute lie of a movie. And Goes To Hell.


All in all, a very underwhelming, strictly puritanical franchise that needed ten movies to stop taking itself so seriously.

Same here. I've only seen the first 3 and the first is the best.

Am I the only one who thinks it's scary that anyone has seen every movie in this franchise?

I don't want to scare anyone but......

I couldn't muster a shit to give about the remake.

To me, Part II is easily the best horror film of this entire franchise, there's not even a conversation to be had about it. The OG is a pretty darn good slasher, though.
The rest are varying degrees of crap, but some are amusing crap. And some are just crap.

Yep.
It's a fun exercise. I did it a few years ago during the early part of the pandemic, since I had actually never brought myself to watch V, VII, Manhattan, or Hell.
I was amused.
