Star Trek (2009) has an imploding planet.

Well in 'Melancholia' there's two planet hitting each other which causes them to sort of explode. Maybe that's usable as well?

Did you know that in the 1980s movie PREDATOR the titular character was not originally portrayed by Kevin Peter Hall.
