Looking for movie: Woman dies in car crash and get second chance

Hey,

I am looking for a movie which my girlfriend saw in England when she was an aupair, couple of years ago. She describes the story about as:

A woman is on its way to work, she leaves the house, crosses the street and is killed by a car (probably by a cab, but not sure). Then, she gets a second chance, to see, how her life would have been, if she left the house only seconds later and don't get killed by the car.

My girlfriend thinks it was a blonde and famous actress, like Meg Ryan or similar.

It also looks similar to Sliding Doors (1998) starring Gwyneth Paltrow

Those are good. Meg Ryan gets hit in City of Angels, but it also sounds like Just Like Heaven with Reese Witherspoon.
