I should have posted this with my last list, but I was barely crawling through reality having taken a benadryl about 40 minutes before compiling the list. BUT! That last round was pretty great. It was very difficult to sort them. So much so that I nearly just copied Chyp's original list post with links as my voting round. I had to change it though because that would have put my song dead last. One thing led to another and the entire listed was restructured. I suppose that was enough to distract me from thanking you all for some great songs.

As to GB's win, hell yeah. I love that song btw. Even going back to my youth, before I knew who Frankie Valli was. I tried to record myself singing it in my 20s. It was horrible. It really was. Anyhoozles, grats up there, GB.

Off topic: I am out of town tomorrow, so knowing me I will completely forget to post up my list for this round. Apologies in advance, should that be the case.

And we get at least the remainder of this tournament without gbg being able to say that she never gets one to the Final .... so it's a win-win really (just kidding gbg - just having you in these is already a win)

No problemo, should that happen I shall use the aforementioned instruction and consider the song order your official ballot - thanks in advance for actually liking one of my songs

Wow. Talking Heads came close to last, and they're one of my favourite bands. Strong round.

And the Suuns song is a beast. Two rounds in a row that introduced me to a quality banger I'd never heard before (La Femme the last round). That's what I'm here for, baby.

@crumbsroom

Off of Suuns, you might like the group, Autolux. I randomly caught a song of theirs a few years back from a Cartoon Network's, Adult Swim segment. The song was "Selectallcopy" from the album, Pussy's Dead. I could NOT turn away from the video:

If La Femme's sound got your attention then you MIGHT also like a few tracks from the 2014 B-movie, The Guest. "Anthonio - Berlin Breakdown" was a standout for me. Weird, goofy movie but it's ridiculously fun.

Round 8:

1. Blood Ceremony - Old Fires (you rock, Canada)!
2. The Zombies - She's Not There (really like this, surprised I haven't heard it before)
3. The Cranberries - Dreams (a '90s alt-rock classic that still holds up)
4. Adam And The Ants - Kings Of The Wild Frontier (never heard a bad song from them)
5. The Byrds - I'd Feel a Whole Lot Better (same as above)
6. Talking Heads - Nothing But Flowers
7. Jimi Hendrix - Burning of the Midnight Lamp
8. Nazareth - Vigilante Man
9. Suuns - Translate
10. Aaron McDonnell - Tell the Devil
11. Wade Hayes - I'm Still Dancin' With You

<Columbo voice> Just one more thing...
If you're in the midwestern or southern U.S., BAND-MAID is touring there in May. Hopefully, they'll add more dates. I managed to score tickets!
