Ha...actually I think? I've liked a lot of your past noms. What all have you nominated?
[/center]
Well you've liked several of my specialty HoF Noms but for Generals:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), you liked it but gave it a 3 I think.
Pulp Fiction (1994), you're not a fan lol
Monsters, Inc. (2001) you liked that one sort of.
The Tree of Life (2011) which you voted last.

So yeah you "sort of" like my animated ones I guess, but I have yet to hit gold with something you love

I was glad to see Snow White & The Tree of Life though not golden... I'm pretty sure I've loved some of your noms in the specialty HoFs though.

Here's mine from the General HoFs

21st: The Breakfast Club (1985)
20th: The Music Man (1962)
19th: Tombstone (1993)
18th: Abandon Ship (1959)
17th: The Dressmaker (2015)
16th: Waterloo Bridge (1931)
15th: American Graffiti (1973)
14th: Passengers (2016)
13th: Nightmare Alley (1947)
12th: Never Let Me Go (2010)
11th: The Flowers of War (2011)
10th: East of Eden (1955)
9th: Leave Her to Heaven (1945)
8th: Lady Killer (1933)

I'm going to watch one of the nominations this evening, but I have no idea which one. Since there have been two posts about Inglorious Basterds already, I might just go with that one. If I decide to watch something new to me instead, I'm leaning towards Mildred Pierce.

Now that I've mentioned them, I'll probably end up going with something completely different though haha.

22nd - State of Seige (1973)

21st - Being There (1979)
20th - Ghostbusters (1984)
19th - Gaslight (1944)
18th - The Little Stranger (2018)
17th - The Innocents (1961)
16th - Mr Freedom (1969)
15th - Aquirre the Wrath of God (1972)

I'm still undecided if I join (I guess I'm slightly leaning towards no at the moment).

Still, I've seen only three of the nominations (The Matrix, Joker and Inglorious Basterds). I really like the first, more or less like the second and the third is kinda OK. Few films seem potentially interesting (State of Siege, Blue Ruin and with some reservations The Last Picture Show). The other four don't really pique my interest.

18th - The Little Stranger (2018)
I thought I watched that film for a HoF, but I wasn't in the 18th, so I guess I just saw it on my own. Perhaps seeing it nominated is what made me want to watch it in the first place?

This is only my 7th General HoF, since I've mostly been sticking to the specialty ones. It's much easier to come up with nominations for those. I had a bit of a German theme going for awhile. Other than Good Bye, Lenin!, they do all have a fair amount of similarities when it comes to tone.

11th HoF - Good Bye, Lenin!
12th HoF - Barbara
13th HoF - Wings of Desire
14th HoF - M
15th HoF - Rebecca
17th HoF - Incendies
22nd HoF - Blue Ruin

Well alright then, lemme have a crack at this too.

Here’s the general HoFs I’ve been in:

7th - Festen
9th - Beasts of the Southern Wild (disqualified - was missing one last long ass film...)
11th - Ida
18th - The Square
22th - Dronningen

It makes me extremely happy inside to see that the last two winners were Phantom Thread and Jagten. PTA movie and a Danish movie hell yes!

I'll never forgive you for taping out on that one! I think that movie would have made the 1st place on my list! What a film!!!

While I was including on my list the secondary HoFs I realized the amount of HoFs I've joined, and because of that the insane amount of films I discovered thanks to that! So thank you everyone!!! You gave me priceless moments of being amazed and touched by movies, and that's the best thing someone could ever give me.

Especially the last HOF. Jagten I wasn’t familiar with, although I realized it was The Hunt after looking into it but still knew little about it other then it was an Oscar nominee for foreign film.
This film was an extremely pleasant surprise and, along with The Salvation (which I know has its detractors, but I enjoyed its simple tale of revenge with a good performance by Mads) has me really looking into Danish films more and more.
Donningen really has piqued my interest.
