So many people? A whopping TWO people mentioned the film... Quite a massive following, there....



That said, I love The Thin Red Line. Great stuff, but the two films aren't really similar at all. They are both war films, but beyond that, have little in common. SPR is intense, and paced in such a way as to keep the viwer on their heels, while The Thin Red Line let's the viewer contemplate the themes of order vs chaos, the nature of evil, etc...

Like comparing apples to oranges.... Both films are great...IMO.
