Great list.
It's always refreshing to see someone who recognizes that The History of Film did not begin in 1970.

I would add to this:
Sweet Smell of Success
Singin' in the Rain
A Night at the Opera
Anything by Laurel and Hardy (The Piano Movers is a favorite of mine).
All Quiet on the Western Front
Harvey
...and more that I can't think of at the moment

EDIT: Arsenic and Old Lace
His Girl Friday
Casablanca

I'm a huge fan of This Boy's Life, but that's because DeNiro is so damn funny/classic in it.

I dont know..I just really like that movie, cause I relate to it and the performances were awesome, by both Deniro and young Dicaprio.

Oh, I agree. I'm often surprised by how many people haven't seen this classic, so I'm always thrilled when others mention it, too.

So many great lines:

"Here I am, you lucky people!"

"It is new. It's new to you."

"Shut your pie hole!"

"I know a thing or two about a thing or two!"

"Yeah, you pull that hot shot stuff around me, and I'll break every bone in your ******* body. You understand me? Yeah, you're in for a change, mister, a whole 'nother ball game."
