"Snoot Entertainment— the indie production banner behind features like Blindspotting and Little Monsters— is partnering with indie video game developer Campo Santo for a feature film adaptation of Firewatch.
Set in the Wyoming wilderness in 1989, the story centers on a fire lookout named Henry, connected via hand-held radio to his supervisor, Delilah. Henry ventures from his mountain top into the unknown terrain below uncovering clues about a mysterious occurrence while facing challenging personal choices.
Keith Calder and Jess Wu Calder will produce for Snoot Entertainment, which will next debut Regina King directorial debut One Night in Miami at TIFF. Sean Vanaman and Jake Rodkin will produce for Campo Santo."
