1.5 on the Joker is unreasonable, but who cares, it's an opinion. I would probably give it a 3.5 or a 4 now.
I haven't seen all the films they say should be seen, I haven't seen Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
My favorite is The Last Black Man in San Francisco, by far, the second is Joker.
It's too early to tell, there still Uncut Gems, and The Lighthouse coming, The Irishman, I don't know.
I'm also very short on independent films and I heard there are some very good ones from Asia.

JESUS IS KING is the best film of 2019 from any nation.

Not sure I'd call Once Upon a Time in Hollywood my favourite 2019 film but it is the only one I've seen more than once in theatres.
