Sony Pictures has picked it up. I'm looking forward to a trailer and a release date.

Not a country music fan, but I think Tom is great and I love biopics.

This is a video of Tom Hiddleston singing a Hank Sr. song at the Wheatland Music Festival last year. He practiced with country singer Rodney Crowell for the movie, and he's a lot better than I expected.

Lots of reports of how serious Tom was about getting it right. He's a great actor and Hank was an alcoholic and addicted to pain medication. This could be quite a performance! (or terrible if he gets it wrong).
