Sorry about that. I didn't think that you would get a notification if your name was in a quoted post. I thought the mentions only applied to the text that was in the actual reply part of the post.
No worries, presumed you probably didn't know it was happening.

Let the night air cool you off
1. Talking Heads - Psycho Killer
- This is the most fun song ever. I would put this track very high on a best songs of all-time list.

2. Rush - Limelight
- Rush is really pleasant to listen to. I don't know much about what is technically difficult to do with instruments, but these dudes always seem like they are very talented.

3. Ghost - Ritual
- I'm stil pretty new to all the metal stuff in the world, so I can't really say where this fits in with its peers. I have a soft spot for metal with killer bass. I think Ghost knows how silly the Satanic stuff can come off, so they place their tongues firmly in their cheeks and it works.

4. Paul Cauthen - Cocaine Country Dancing
- This dude has a crazy voice. I'm not sure what to make of him just yet. I've heard a couple of his songs before. The first time I heard of him I think was when he and Cody Jinks covered "Blackhole Sun". This tune is a great time. I get the Waylon comparison.

5. Kin Palo - Twisted
- This is like The Weeknd mixed with Lana Del Rey mixed with something else that I can't think of yet.

6. Victoria+Jean - Holly
- Catchy and kinda odd. I think I like it.

7. The Smashing Pumpkins - Bullet with Butterfly Wings
- This is a decent song, but if I knew how many people really love this song, I'd probably unfairly start to hate it.

8. The Breeders - Cannonball
- 90's alternative music isn't really my jam, but this isn't bad.

9. Pink - So What
- I don't like Pink. If she is starting a fight, I'm rooting for whoever she is fighting.

10. Jeremy Jordan and Katharine McPhee - Rewrite this Story
- Unless she is fighting these dweebs.

Jaime Wyatt - Misery and Gin

Seds, hk, cat and Derek all wandered off so just the mere six of us taking part in the final round.

Please rank from 1 (your favourite) to 6 (your least favourite).
This round will stay open for voting until 10am IST/BST on 29th June.

1. Jaime Wyatt - Misery and Gin
2. Bogus Blimp - Automated Bathroom
3. Diamante - Haunted
4. George Strait - The Cowboy Rides Away
5. Helmut - Unsung
6. Bobby Darin - Beyond the Sea

Round 13

1. Jaime Wyatt - Misery and Gin
(Based on the name and song title, I was expecting some hard-edged outlaw dude, so this immediately caught me off guard in a good way. Fantastic song and one of the best I've heard in this entire tournament. Love how her voice so delicately rides along those old-school country chords. Will definitely be listening to this entire album in the very near future.)

2. Diamante - Haunted
(Heard this on the radio recently and really dug it. Then I looked up the band and saw how gorgeous their blue-haired singer is and suddenly I dug it even more. The song is simple, catchy, commercial. Their music reminds me a lot of The Pretty Reckless, who always seem to get nominated in these tournaments. A shame that @honeykid disappeared this round since I had him in mind when nominating this song, as it fits his women-rocker theme.)

3. George Strait - The Cowboy Rides Away
(For too long I ignored George Strait just because he lacked the "cool" factor of other country legends. Admittedly, I'm still not too into his era of country, but my respect for him has grown a lot. This is a very good song.)

4. Bobby Darin - Beyond the Sea
(Such an evocative song, which is probably why it seems to show up in so much stuff.)

5. Helmet - Unsung
(Not a song that's ever done much for me, although it was cool to hear it again for the first time in ages. The outro is the best part.)

6. Bogus Blimp - Automated Bathroom
(Stop trying to hypnotize me!)

The song was originally performed by Merle Haggard actually, so this is a cover. And while she might not be a hard-edged dude, she's very much an outlaw as she spent some time in the clink. She's a bad bitch.

Let the night air cool you off
1. George Strait - The Cowboy Rides Away
- I have a soft spot for George. In Texas, George Strait is the goddanged man. George Strait could have only toured Texas and he'd still be worth a couple hundred million. I remember seeing him at Texas Stadium when I was a young, little, red-headed cowboy myself. My mother won tickets on a radio show for us. Somewhere there's a bunch of Polaroids with me wearing an adorable cowboy ensemble of Wranglers, a Stetson, and the most colorful western shirt you've ever seen with several different attractive young women on my arms. My parents thought it would be hilarious and adorable to ask the young ladies attending that event to take pictures with their pre-pubescent son. They were right. Oh yeah, I'll probably be the high voter (or tie the high voter) on any George song you nominate.

2. Jaime Wyatt - Misery and Gin
- She's great. This is great.

3. Bobby Darin - Beyond the Sea
- Silky smooth, classy, I want to smoke a cigar

4. Bogus Blimp - Automated Bathroom
- I don't like the way this made me feel. Surely that's what it's going for. My stomach literally got kinda queasy listening to this. Good tune.

5. Helmet - Unsung
- I think I hate the 90's. The decade has a very noticeable style that seems to have a relatively low ceiling for my enjoyment. So much of it sounds the same to me. This track seems to be pretty decent 90's stuff.

6. Diamante - Haunted
- Not bad, but not my cuppa. That singer is a dime piece tho
