It is.

I just seen him the other night in Star Trek Deep Space Nine. I didn't recognize his face, as he looked a bit different than usual But I did recognize his mannerisms and voice as the infamous Chester Plate aka Robert Mandan.

He had a somewhat sporadic movie career but he did have a significant role in a Best Picture Oscar winner from the 1950's. The shot I posted is not from that movie, that movie is in black and white.
