I can't say I'm fascinated by them. Many serious drug films disturb me deeply, so much so that I can't stomach watching my number two pick any more. Marijuana comedies on the other hand I like, but are extremly over done. But here you go...
1. Goodfellas - Some may think this is a bit of a stretch, but it's really not.
2. Requium for a Dream - The final 15 min. are the most difficult I've ever sat thru.
3. Trainspotting - "Choose Life"
4. Half Baked - "You in here for some marijuana?"
5. Saving Grace - Cute, uplitfing, and funny all in one.

When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end..."

Wanna Date? Got Any Money?
I am also adding Late night sessions to my list.. it's a very shakily filmed movie about the exploits of a group of friends who are all stoners and part of the rave scene. It's actually really good.. the charactors are sometimes 2D.. so beware of that

A novel adaptation.
Because no one has said it, how's about:
Naked Lunch.
