What about Jennifer Jason Leigh's death in The Hitcher when she's torn apart by the trucks? That happens off-screen but is very effective and would be incredibly cheap to do.

Nightmare on Elmstreet 2, The shower scene, where the invisible freddy slits the guys bare back and then eventualy leaves him to bleed to death(I think thats how it went)

That death scene in Memento, when the guy gives his wife the shot 3 times then she deis. That's some crazy ish, ya know? Makes me want to eat ice cream for some reason.
I personally liked the murder of Teddy and Jimmy from memento better than his wife. Especially the murder of Teddy backwards at the very beggiining. that was awesome.
