Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have been recently watching old classic movies that my parents suggested. Turns out I enjoy these more than present movies. Could people make some suggestions to the classics

Thanks.

And how old does a movie have to be to be a classic?

I don't know what you have and haven't seen, but being as we sound like we've had a similar path (I hadn't watched much pre-1980 before 2 years ago), here's some recommendations:

Citizen Kane
Casablanca
Some like it Hot
On the Waterfront
Psycho
Rear Window
North by Northwest
Dial M for Murder
It Happened One Night
Wizard of Oz
Grapes of Wrath
High Noon
Ben-Hur
It's a Wonderful Life
Bridge on the River Kwai

these are my favorites

Sorry Harmonica.......I got to stay here.
What genre do you like best? Musicals? Drama? War?, Comedy, etc? Hard to narrow down, there's so many great ones.
