THE worst movie of all time.

@ Meat

You realize a film about hunting serial killer aliens IS indeed a sci-fi action movie, right?

Dudes with guns shooting = action

aliens = science fiction

Still....film looks like a steaming pile... that much we can agree on!
Shooting aliens is about 5 minutes of the film and turns out to be a dream or something dumb. The rest is interviewing really exagerated dumb people on what they think about serial killers.

Sounds like a classic movie for the Sci-fi channel, I'm surprised I haven't run across it yet.

I'm sure there are loads.

Ace Ventura...I used to have one of the laser discs...a long time ago. I was a kid, I have no idea how we got it. Watch a few minutes...turned it off and warn everyone I knew that it was horrible

I looked at your films you want to see this year - is Choke actually going to be made finally ?

...Yes...Sam Rockwell is Victor....Apparently its already made...filming is all wrapped I think...just waiting for a release.

Now I do hope they come around to making Survivor...I do want to see a screen adaptation of it.

How big is the budget on Choke though - the thing about making a Survivor movie is , it would have an enourmous budget . Football game ? Airplane ?

I'm not old, you're just 12.

I really thought Ace Ventura was hilarious in a stupid, no redeeming value whatsoever kind of way. I skipped out on a dreadfully boring poetry reading (by Robert Bly, who I decided, after my school's paper had interviewed him, was a pretentious old fart) and saw it on a whim, and I laughed for the entire film.

According to Wikipedia.org this budget is UBER small only $3.4 million

Choke is playing in competition at the Sundance Film Festival as we type. It's directed and adapted by Clark Gregg, primarily known as an actor to this point (State & Main, "The New Adventures of Old Christine") and as the husband of Jennifer Grey. How it is received at Sundance and who then purchases it for distribution will determine when it'll be released. But if you're in Park City, Utah this week, try and find a screening.

I have no idea which of the two movies I owned. It was the one where he stuff asparagus in his mouth...I was grossed out. I'm not really a fan of Jim Carrey anyway and even as a child I never did like his comedic performances...he kinda overdoes his facial expression...pull way too many funny faces thats not even funny any more...and in the end just seem rather forced.

Pretty much the only movie I liked him in was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...he did not need to be funny in this one. It is one of my favourite movies.

Welcome to the human race...
I've also got to nominate the 1960s version of Casino Royale. Very little to laugh about in this movie.

Having seen it just recently, at the moment I do consider Casino Royale to be the worst movie of all time. Tarkovsky's movies are an easier watch than this one. I have no idea at which point did any of it seem like a good idea, and I was thinking how the final scene must have looked in the screenplay. "There are cowboys, Indians, seals, flying roulette tables, and a bunch of other psychedelic stuff, everyone is fighting, and then there's a big explosion and everyone dies and goes to heaven", wouldn't do justice to it. Not even close.

Wow, what an insightful elaboration and an exhausting comparison of the two! "Lolz that ones bad!"
hey, he spelled all the words right so +rep to him

anyway, I liked the newer one, wasn't sure how Daniel Craig could pull off James Bond (too buff), but he did nicely.
