How many movies you got man?

How many movies you got man?
I lost count. I have 8 shelves plus 2 lockers (the kind of lockers students have in school) with movies in them.

All the President’s Men is a terrific movie.
Oh yeah, back when men did big hair, big collars and wide ties.

The Outer Limits, the lamentably short lived early 1960's sci-fi anthology. Season 1 had probably the best, gloomiest, most somber, thoughtful, noir-ish and innovative sci-fi ever made for the small screen. Season 2 wasn't as good, but, but it was right up there in a triumvirate with Season 1 and The Twilight Zone, which of course wasn't entirely sci-fi. You can stream them on Amazon per episode, but the DVD set has excellent transfers and is pretty cheap. I've been parsing them out so I don't finish the entire series too quickly.

The first episode set the stage with The Galaxy Being, in which an astronomer accidentally captures a non-corporeal extraterrestrial with a radar dish. Of course, everything in these episodes is a metaphor for something, so there's plenty mental food to play with and, you will get some wise hints from The Control Voice who walks you into the episode and returns you to reality at the end.

I went to the mall and picked up Power of the Doggy and Daisies on Criterion blu ray.

I didn't realize the B&N criterion sale was on (it trickled down to Amazon as well).
I picked up both the Daisies Blu-ray and In the Mood for Love 4K as upgrades.
Unrelated to that sale, but also picked up some Kino physical media discs as upgrades over their digital download versions:
Jean Rollin's The Iron Rose
Robbe-Grillet's The Successive Slidings of Pleasure.

Got some more Christmas blu rays today. I got:

A Christmas Carol 1984
Scrooge 1970
The Santa Clause 3 movie collection*
