Help required - prehistoric man seeks revenge for tribal killing!

Hi there. I was hoping that someone could jog my memory regarding a film I saw year ago.

It was set thousands of year ago and the plot follows a man embarking on a long journey seeking to avenge the murder of his family by a rival tribe. He manages to find the murderers family in the end but let’s them go as he does not see any point in exacting his revenge on innocents.

The dialogue is sparse and uses ancient dialects.

Probably Apocalypto (2006) by Mel Gibson.

How were they dressed - like Vikings, Native Americans, Conan the Barbarian?

My memory is hazy on this but it I think it was animal skins etc

I seem to recall the film was “famous” for the dialogue featuring a long dead language, but I could be wrong.
