I can only go as far back as 1940, but I'm sure some people can go all the way to the baby days of cinema! It's a pretty neat way to sum up the progression of cinema over the years in terms of your favourites.

We don't have very similar taste.

I don't have my favorites that well organized. If I picked up my top 100's lists in live action and animation and picked up the dates and ordered out the live action ones as being comparable to animation about half the position in the raking (25th place in animation equals to 50th place in live action) I think I could make something but many years would have holes in them.

My criticker account had it all ordered but I haven't updated it for over an year.

I'm one of the few people on the planet who does not consider Annie Hall a masterpiece or deserving of the Best Picture Oscar it won

Love Groundhog Day for 1993

Between 1920 and 2014, there are only 8 years where I haven't seen any feature-length films. The only feature-length film that I saw before that was The Birth of a Nation. The quality of films that I've seen noticably dipped in the 1950s and started to break down in the 1940s (although, to be fair, that was mostly 1949's fault).
