When I look at the best movies of the '80's, I think it is the worst decade for film in comparison.

Blade Runner-I know honeykid you think it's overrated, but its just such a beautiful movie
Although I think it's overrated as a film, there's no denying its place in sci-fi history. I'd guess that Lang's Metropolis is the only other film that could claim to be as influencial in terms of how sci-fi films look. Without Blade Runner, there'd be no Matrix... Which is just another reason not to like it.

Woah, woah, woah. You needed extra space on your list so you could proudly include frippin' Commando and Tango & Cash?!? What's at number twenty, Cobra?

"You're the disease, and I'm the cure."

Hold on now. Tango & Cash was good, and Commando was classic! Cobra is good too, a fine example of a good 80's action movie. I actually think that I saw that in the theater. I thought it was so cool that Stallone walked around with an unlit match in his mouth. Haha. Maybe I like them more because I was a kid when they came out. I also can't believe that I haven't seen anyone list The Karate Kid. I remember seeing that at the theater, it was a double feature with Return of the Jedi.

1. Dirty Dancing
2. Rain Man
3. The Adventures of Milo and Otis
4. The Little Mermaid
5. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
6. An Officer and a Gentleman
7. Terms of Endearment
8. The Fox and the Hound
9. Look Who’s Talking
10. Risky Business

2022 Mofo Fantasy Football Champ
1. Rain Man
2. The Brave Little Toaster
3. Glory

All in all, aside from Rain Man, nothing really intrigues me from the 80's yet, though this is probably the decade that I've seen the least of, for one reason or another.

Rain Man
Terminator
ET
Full Metal Jacket
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Batman/The Empire Strikes Back
Terms of Endearment
Amadeus
Little Mermaid
Dead Poets Society

There are so many great movies from what I believe is the best era in film to even choose from.

3. The Outsiders( what a compilation of great actors for this movie)
4. The Breakfast Club (the brilliant mind of the late John Hughes)
5. Can't Buy Me Love ( this movie may seem silly, but actually Patrick Dempsey isn't bad at all)
6. Pretty In Pink ( Molly Ringwald was great, but Jon Cryer steals the show in this one)
7. Sixteen Candles (another brilliant performance by Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall was great to.)
8. St. Elmos Fire: (another great ensemble of actors and actresses)
9. Taps: (Timothy Hutton, Sean Penn, and Tom Cruise give a great performance)
10. The Princess Bride: (A Classic for all ages)
8.
