Cannes 2023

I've never been to a film festival but I would like to, so while Cannes for me would be out of the question I might have a chance at Sundance next year since I couldn't afford to go this year. Here's some links to articles on the Cannes 23 festivities happening on Tuesday and beyond.

The big attractions this year are Indiana Jones 5, the new French Johnny Depp movie and Scorcese's Killers of the Blood Moon. Sounds like a strong return to form after two years of Coronavirus sledgehammering.

The trick is not minding
A lot of big name directors are set to premiere their films at this years Cannes.

Kore-eda, Loach, Wes Anderson, Wenders, and even Victor Erice returns with his first film since 1992.
Pedro Costa, Almodovar, Haynes, and more I’m probably forgetting. It’s definitely one to watch.

Great articles! This year Cannes is really amazing!

Looks like Cannes 2023 was a huge success, continuing the upward trend that the Coronavirus epidemic paused. What the news reporters have shown us on the outside is what movies to anticipate and hopefully some insights into ones you might've missed. My Binging and Googling mission is complete. Hopefully I provided some handy links for you movie enthusiasts. That concludes my Cannes coverage.
