2015 MoFo Challenge Completion Thread

Is there anything left? I was annoyed by all that stuff come the end of season 2 and didn't bother with the rest.
There's some great stuff left and some really not great stuff.

I've enjoyed how the stories of Tyrion and Jaime have played out in seasons 3 and 4, and I think it's worth watching for that, but the fantasy elements are much more prominent in these seasons. Judging by the trailer for season 5, which premieres in about a month, that trend isn't stopping.

I'll probably stick it out awhile longer, provided Tyrion continues to survive, but I was really, really annoyed by the big battle at the end of season 4 and also annoyed at where they went with Brandon Stark's story.

Ignore the The and go to the next word.
Duly noted. I'm also working under the assumption that this only applies to never-before-seen films because that's more of a challenge, yes?

Same goes for the "seven different countries" challenge because while JayDee decided to lump North America and the UK together, he didn't say anything about Australia and New Zealand. I've seen films from both and thus that'd complete the challenge but it seems a bit of a cop-out since they're still English-speaking countries.

Yeah, on the never seen before challenge, but I don't see why every English speaking country needs to be lumped together. There are some damned good movies from each country.

My assumption is that this particular limitation is supposed to encourage people to seek out films that aren't in English, thus providing a challenge for people who might otherwise play it safe by sticking to films from English-speaking countries.

I guess the thing to do would to be to get a final answer from JayDee. I'll pm him in a couple of days if he doesn't answer in the thread.

1. Watch a film from at least 7 different countries. For the purpose of this challenge let's classify the UK and Ireland as one country, and lump the US and Canada together as one country of North America. So for example if you watch films from USA, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland you've not ticked off 6 countries but just 2. ~ JayDee
In no order

America- The Departed (First film I watched in 2015 I believe)
Italy- 8 1/2
Germany- Das Boot
France- The Illusionist
Sweden- The Seventh Seal
Russia- The Battleship Potemkin
Japan- Rashomon

Finished reading 70,000 pages of fiction between December 26 2014 and with the goal of finishing my own self challenge by December 25 2015. that's about 200 books. Of course, the fact that 95% of the pages were comics made it easier. I would need to get unemployed to read 200 novels in less than 10 months.
