The latest film from Fatih Akin, director of Gegen die Wand (Head-On).

Like Head-On it is set in Germany and Turkey. Like Head-On it has a title which is not very literally translated from the German (literally, On the Other Side).

This is released today in the UK (although fat chance of me finding it showing anywhere I can get to this weekend, I can only find one cinema showing There Will Be Blood).

But I am looking forward to seeing it anyway.

Well I managed to see this last night (so glad to be back in London) and will post my thoughts shortly. I also found out it is showing on Sky Box Office, if you have that.

My review

Sounds interesting.. though I'm not familiar with the director's name. I'd like to see this movie.
