I heard this name in the 90s in movie or show

It’s a place like in Africa or like a last name used in a movie

After a little detective work:
Campisi is the name of a restaurant in Dallas Texas, as in, "Campisi's Egyptian Restaurant", named after founder Joseph Campisi.
The restaurant is famous for having Jack Ruby as a regular guest.
Jack Ruby was the guy who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, Oswald being the man who shot JFK.


I'm guessing the reference you heard might be in a movie dealing with the JFK assassination.
There's tons of movies about the subject though, so best thing to do really is google movies about JFK and see if anything sparks your memory.
