For the life of me I cannot remember the name of this movie but I can certainly describe some of it.

It has to do with a woman, a reporter I believe, who is putting together a book or an article about disasters and she stumbles on a series of pictures that have the same man in them. But the pictures were from different periods of time when major disasters struck. This included the Hindenburg. After digging and fighting to prove that she was not crazy she discovers that in the future a vacation was a trip to the past to see the great disasters and be a surviving part of them.

I'd really like to know what this is and begin my search to finding it on Amazon if possible.

Thanks Very Much In Advance!

I'm pretty sure I've seen the movie... and thought at first it might be Millennium... but I don't remember a woman reporter in that...

I think it was a tv movie called The Time Shifters. But it also seems to be known as Thrill Seekers.

By any chance... 12 Monkeys...there the woman saw Bruce Willis in WW2 in a picture... and it has to do with time travel and disasters.

If it's not Twelve Monkeys then I'm pretty sure it's David Twohy's 1992 flick Timescape. That one's about time travelers who visit various disasters from history.

Thank You Everyone! It is not Thrill Seekers, Millennium, or Twelve Monkies... That's forcertain... Although they are great movies that I currently own.

I'm going to check out Time Shifters and Timescape right now to see if it's either one.

I'll post back tonight with the answer.

Thanks Again!!!

Did you guys read DDjinn's post? There's no way it's 12 Monkeys.

edit: Time Shifters and Thrill Seekers are the same movie. But I'll leave with a little write-up from imdbon it:

"Reporter Tom Merrick stumbles across photos of various disasters - the Hindenburg, Titanic, Hurricane Hugo - all of which feature a mysterious stranger in the background. Merrick's investigation leads him to the Time Shifters, a group of thrill-seekers who travel back in time to witness similar calamities throughout history. Merrick desperately tries to avert future disasters - a plane crash, a subway crash, a bomb in an athletic complex - and protect the lives of his son and ex-wife."

Plot sounds identical except for the main character being female, although buddy tries to uncover the truth with a researcher from his paper played by Catherine Bell.

I believe that I just may do that. I think I'll go update my profile to include movie lists and the like.

This has been on my mind for at least two years
When you first described it in this thread it started to annoy me a little too, as I remembered seeing it but couldn't think of the exact name. I knew it was a tv movie so I think I google searched something like: time travel reporter tv movie - and I found it.

My life isn't written very well.
MoFo comes to the rescue again! Nice Harry Lime! DDjin please stick around. You're the kind of person that might really enjoy it here, especially with your rare movie knowledge.
