Favorite Comedies of the 21st Century?

Tools

STARSKY & HUTCH
I was actually given this, as a present. I was uncertain as to whether, or not, this was going to entertain. It looked very cheesey and it took me a while to brave it. But once I did, I realized it wasn't half bad! There's beautiful women, galore, and plenty of action/comedy - not to mention some very cool rides. I don't make a habit out of watching it, but whenever I put it on, I never regret it ...

_____ is the most important thing in my life…
Hot Fuzz, Old School, Dodgeball, Anchorman, and yes...Step Brothers. I know there has to be an intelligent comedy...but my memory .

Step Brothers is a movie I didn't like at first, but each time I see it . John C. Riley is such a favorite of mine. Steve Brule may be his high-water mark, but you can't beat that hair and those facial expressions.

@ CiCi

Summer Heights High and the majority of Chris Lilley's effort are great. Angry Boys was probably my favorite.

I'm bumping this coz i caught some of Goon earlier and found it hilarious, really didn't think it would hold up. Just curious what everyone's favourite comedies since 2000 are. Count what you want but i'm excluding films that are comedies but do more for me than make me laugh like: Wes Anderson Films , Almost Famous, Pixar, Alexander Payne Films, Certain Coen Films, Submarine, etc.

01.Team America
02.Four Lions
03.Bad Santa
04.Goon
05.Borat
06.Observe and Report
07.In Bruges
08.Tucker and Dale Vs Evil
09.Meet The Parents
10.School of Rock

Very few (especially in the current decade) but I guess:
Shaun of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
Serendipity
DEBS
Just Friends
Bad Words
In Bruges is funny but I don't really think it's strictly a comedy so I'm not counting that.

I'd agree with you on In Bruges, i almost left it off except it makes me laugh more than it does anything else for me so i included it.

I'm amazed Serendipity is supposed to be a comedy. I just googled that to make sure and yeah apparently it is a rom-com. I don't remember a single joke or funny thing in it.

In Bruges
Shaun of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
The World's End
In the Loop
Anchorman
The Grand Budapest Hotel
The Darjeeling Limited
Attack the Block

Its a bit weak when it comes to plot but visually its great and you should check it out if you like Wes Anderson's other stuff

Thanks, mate.

I think the funniest for me other than what you listed were 4 Lions and Tucker and Dale -v- Evil among others. The Shallows was the funniest unintentional comedy of late. Bait 3D was also hysterical but I;m not sure it was supposed to be that funny. Also, the much applauded Cabin in the Woods. Sigourney Weaver getting an axe to the head had me on the floor.
