I don't think it's animated, but it looks good nonetheless. I think they captured the games quiet erieness quite well.

doesn't it look like the cgi of the ps2 game? it didn't look like live action to me ...

The video was to short to make any kind of assumption about the game. But im looking forward to watching this film.
