More X-men on the way?

Well I suppose we all saw this coming

Someone needs their fill.
Certainly seems in the realm of possibility. I guess it all depends on how well the 3rd one does and how well it's pleasing to the fans.

There's treachery afoot!!!
Wasn't the upcoming installment supposed to be the end of the trilogy?? I guess thats what I've read in some interviews. If they keep making the films up to par with the first two I'm all for it.

Wonderboy, I actually had a discussion with someone about this today. It seems to me that they are making it a Trilogy rather than a Franchise, which is fine with me, as I don't want to see the movies go Downhill. I loved the first two ... and the trailer for the third one looks amazing. I'm really looking forward to the movie, due out in July I think. I am pretty sure it's going to be the last Xmen movie though.

PS: I just looked at the link that "Hell" posted ... two more sequels ... if that's true ... woo hoo!!!!

Actually, it's May 26th. At least for the States it is.

Ah .. thanks ... May, June, July ... it's all summer to me

I think that if it makes money, they'll keep making them. They have so many characters that if they wanted to, they can focus on all different ones for three other movies.

The "X-Men" movies have been a letdown to me. They just don't have the teamwork that I wanted to see. Like in the end of the second film, when Jean takes it upon herself to rescue everyone. If they'd have just used a little teamwork, they could have all made it. Iceman and Storm could have frozen the water, Cyclops could have taken off his visor and punched a hole in the ground to collect it and Jean and Professor X could have funnelled it in. This team does so much bickering that it shouldn't even be a team! The Incredibles could take out the X-Men without breaking a sweat.

I got for good luck my black tooth.

Frozone would show Iceman how it's done.

Yeah me too, that's gonna be hilarious. oh and in response to Ford's comment; Jean had to be hit by the wave to keep true to the comic series especially since there's some very cool stuff likely to happen in the next movie (don't want to spoil)

i think im too much of an elitist but im really not all that excited about all the X-men movies... i like my comic book movies to follow their source material... while Xmen 1&2 havent strayed too far away they still dont have it spot on... i guess thats why Sin City has been the best comic book movie to date.

did you yall see the trailer they have out, can't wait

Matthew Vaughn will direct X-men: First Class sequel!

Jan 30, 2012

With Matthew Vaughn’s X-men: First Class being the first good X-men film since Bryan Singer’s X2, Twentieth Century Fox was adamant about getting him to return as director. Well, the studio has now closed a deal for Vaughn to direct the sequel. Not only that, but Bryan Singer will also return to produce the film. All they need this time is a better script. No word on what new elements we can expect to see in the sequel just yet.

I'd be down to see some more X-Men!

I think if there is going to be another Xmen movie,it's going to be Zombie-pasted and script. The last one though (prequel) was the best of the best, not only as an Xmen movie, but as a movie in general..
