best and worse movie spoofs.

now , i give every spoof movie a chance.

and theres only a few that are good .

such as

hot shots i think its called , with charlie sheen
scary movie 1
scary movie 2
dont be a menace in south central while drinking juice in the hood

and the bad

vampires suck ( really bad)
date movie.

i think im giving up on these.
your opinions?

I too have a soft spot for Keenan Ivory Wayans and the first two Scary Movies and Don't be a Menace to South Central etc. You should also check his blacksploitation spoof I'm Gonna Git You Sucka.

In a simlar vein to that was the more recent Black Dynamite which I also recommend.

Gremlins 2 is another favorite, which parodies tons of stuff including the first Gremlins.

Everything Mel Brooks did was golden. I only really enjoy the first 2 scary movies, after that there's hardly anything that came out recently worth seeing.

No love for Airplane!, then?

Also, I'll throw in a mention for Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Life of Brian.

Superhero Movie was really bad.

I'll admit I kind of liked Superhero Movie, at least it maintained some semblance of coherence and had a few decent laughs - more than I can say for some of the other "movies".

Black Dynamite is magnificent. I love that film. Also, Airplane!, This Is Spinal Tap (not really a spoof, IMO, but I'll mention it because it's brilliant) The Naked Gun, Top Secret!, National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon,

Ah, Top Secret!, can't believe I forgot that. Well, I can, actually, but still. Good stuff.

Shouldn't the title be "best and worst"? I mean worse than the best is like everything.
