Wash in Serenity. I can't believe it took me so long to come up with it!

Watch how I soar"
I was gonna make it my signature but I couldn't find a picture of it. . . . .

Wash's death really p!$$ed me off.
Mr. Nice-Guy saves the ship and crew after the battle and...

I never even saw that one coming.

For me personally, one of the most disturbing movie deaths had to come as a kid when I saw the movie The Long Ships.

The Mare of Steel horrified me to the point of nightmares...

"Picture a three-story playground slide, only with a razor sharp steel blade jutting up where the sliding surface should be. For overkill, there's a pad of steel spikes at the bottom. The victim is escorted to the top and forced to slide down on his stomach head-first."

In the solitude of my livingroom, I just watched the horrible movie, The Hostel 2. In this film there were the one of the most horrible death, when young woman actor cuts off her torturers genitals. Huh..

Just watched "Once Upon A Time In America" for the first time in 20 years. I still feel bad when little Dominic gets shot in the back by Bugsy.
"Noodles... I slipped!"

Maybe it's the age difference--I saw this movie as an adult in an Army theater, and all I could think of was that someone went to a lot of cost, time and trouble to build a giant machine for splitting a guy into, when they could have accomplished the same thing by standing him under a heavy blade and dropping it on him. In fact, the only scene sillier than the Mare of Steel was when they try to remove the building-size bell of gold, lose their grip, and it goes bounding down the cliff, dragging the chained vikings along with it, spashes into the Mediterranean--and then floats! I've always thought The Long Ships was about the worse movie ever made--I've seen better film on bad teeth! I wonder what prompted pals Richard Widmark and Sydney Portier to sign on for that disaster?

My choice for the worst unbelievable movie death would have to encompass virtually everyone killed in Saving Pvt. Ryan--especially the officer's prolonged "don't waste this" demise. The one exception is the hand-to-hand knife fight with the downed American begging "no, no" and the German saying (in German) "sleep, sleep" as the knife blade slides in. Now that was authentic and disturbing.

The other cliché bad movie death is the Hollywood actress death scene in which she gets prettier and prettier as she succumbs to a lingering disease--as in Love Story and Camellia. Victims of lingering disease look like the aids victims in Philadelphia.

Are you familiar with the movie Turistas? That movie for me is creepy they take the humans inner organs to sell in hospitals and the death of their victims was really horrible.

Final Destination has a variety of death scenes...
Some are OK and some are not...
