Bollywood- Clive James Cameo.

Can anyone tell me the name of the Bollywood film that Australian Broadcaster/Journalist Clive James appeared in during the early 1990s as an extra.

He wore a burgandy tunic, held a scimiter sword had a turbin on his head, and is struck down during a sword fight with the movie hero.

I don't think anyone will get this one.

It was in a BBC show called "Postcards From..." where Clive would go to various places and do various things when he got there.

The episode was called "Postcards From... Bombay".

If you have BBC iPlayer, the episode is available.

Don't like Clive James. Not keen on anybody who can't make up their mind what their name is.

Aw, he was funny sometimes.

He called Arnold Schwarzenegger a "condom filled with walnuts"

Yes, I've seen it. But, still don't know the name of the movie.

Maybe, the scene was dropped from the final film.

Easy enough to find the movie tbh.

Postcards From Bombay was released February 1995... and shows backstage footage of Clive and Madhuri Dixit.

So the movie you're looking for starred Mahuri Dixit, and was made in either 1994, or early 1995.
Simple.

Thanks to @Rodent 's input, and after taking a quick peek at the episode the movie you are looking for is Rajkumar which they mention in that episode.
It was released in 1996.
